Our generations are on the grind and hustle: we’re posting on LinkedIn from the locker rooms, and we’re taking Zoom meetings from beach resorts. We’ve lost sight of the peace found in the out of office, in the smaller moments—let's circle back to that.

Nana-J is a premium loungewear brand with a focus on producing staple hybrid pieces from cosy knitwear that encourages women to unwind from their stressors and honour the body they are showing up with.

Jess Hill—our millennial nana—comes from a successful career in the music and media industries, but at the dawn of 30, she felt a significant shift. Amid her life that she loved—one that prioritised connection, wellbeing and tenacity, burnout had snuck in. She had moved from her home in New Zealand to the sunny shores of Sydney to bolster her career, but realised that the constant drive for more was at odds with the pace in which she thrived. On the brink of burnout, she knew it was time for Nana-J to be explored, and when she travelled to Bali with the bones of the idea, she finally found the solace she was seeking.

Connecting with incredible designers, manufacturers & production houses, Jess took what could have been another Eat, Pray, Love moment and used it as an opportunity to create a brand that was intentional and insightful. Collaborating was a cornerstone of the creative process here, where she worked to make the perfect knit that captured the essence of Nana-J: extremely comfortable textiles designed to last and make every woman feel at home.
